The AVC Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association presents an "Animal Rescue Workshop" on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. This hands-on workshop will provide participants with a basic understanding of the role of an animal rescue response team during a disaster. Featuring lectures from the Oceanographic Environmental Research Society and the Atlantic Veterinary College, and a simulated search exercise.
