The Journal Club to be hosted by Dr. Bonnie Stewart, which was postponed from September, has been rescheduled. It will now take place on Friday, November 17 from 12:15 to 1:30 pm, in Memorial Hall, Room 417. Dr. Stewart's article, "Collapsed publics: Orality, literacy, and vulnerability in academic Twitter," addresses scholars’ experiences and practices related to engagement on open networked platforms, and considers the tensions these practices raise within the contemporary academy.
