In addition to the English Academic Preparation (EAP) program for students, UPEI offers customized English-language programs for groups to meet diverse language-learning requirements such as: summer language camps for students, programs for teachers of English as a foreign language desiring advanced specialization, students preparing for a 2+2 program, English majors requiring an immersion experience, and students taking a gap year to improve English skills.

Groups as small as 10 and as large as 200 can study year-round in UPEI’s first-class programs in one of the world’s top holiday destinations. Our all-inclusive package includes customized English language classes, afternoon workshops, afternoon socio-cultural activities, local transportation access, and homestay or residence accommodations.  Program lengths are flexible - from 2-weeks to a full semester.

Customized courses can be designed as non-credit, for transfer credit to your university, or according to specifications of your university. 

On-campus volunteer opportunities

Interested in being a student volunteer?  The UPEI English Language Centre is always looking for volunteers to join us in assisting with afternoon socio-cultural activities and acting as conversation partners for our programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and strengthen valuable skills, experience other cultures, and of course have a blast doing it!
