Graduate Student Tutorial Assistant - School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences - Faculty of Science
$27.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay, as per PSAC Local 86000

The School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences at the University of Prince Edward Island seeks to hire a Graduate Tutorial Assistant (maximum of 3 hours/week) for MATH-1910 and MATH-1920 Tutorials during the fall 2024 semester.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in tutorials, and marking exams and assignments
- Acting as a general resource person for students during the tutorials
- Collaborating with the tutorial instructor to ensure tutorials are conducted accordingly
- The successful applicants will be required to participate on a weekly basis for the duration of the fall semester
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be enrolled in a Graduate Program at UPEI
- Preference will be given to those enrolled in a program in the School of Mathematical & Computational Sciences
- Must have an acceptable academic record
- Previous experience as a laboratory/tutorial assistant is an asset
This position is covered by a Collective Agreement between the Public Service Alliance of Canada and the University of Prince Edward Island. Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students.
