QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DVM degree (or equivalent),
  • Diplomate status or successful completion of a residency approved by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine or relevant specialty (i.e. ECEIM).

Our LAIM service has strong collaborative interactions with other large animal disciplines to optimize student teaching, patient care and client satisfaction. To be successful, the applicant must be an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher and have a strong interest in clinical service and teaching. The breakdown between time dedicated to clinical service, teaching and scholarly activity may be adjusted to dovetail with the strengths or interest of the successful candidate. However, the position is backfill for sabbaticals; therefore, there is a focus on clinical service and teaching.
