Sessional Instructor - Department of Modern Languages - Faculty of Arts (Fall 2025)
The Department of Modern Languages of the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for Sessional Instructors for the Fall 2025 Semester. We are seeking an instructor to teach the following course in the Department of Modern Languages. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Please note: the course offered below will be taught in person, unless otherwise specified as an online course.
FR 1010 – French Language and Culture I (3 Credits) (Online)
This course proposes fundamentals of French and French culture through a progressive acquisition of basic communication skills and an understanding of the practices and products of French language and Francophone cultures. This course is open only to students who have a limited background in French. The French Placement test is mandatory in order to enroll.
Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a graduate degree or a doctoral degree.
Preference will be given to the qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster for Modern Languages and full-time and term contract Faculty Members of the Academic unit.
