The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a full-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Nursing, Learning Resource Centre. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with College of Registered Nurses and Midwives of Prince Edward Island (CRNMPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in simulation is required. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students is required. Experience working in pediatrics, maternity, and community would be an asset. Valid driver’s license required.

Term:  Permanent full-time position

Hours:  37.5 hours per week, involves days and evening shift work

Salary: $46.75 per hour in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the University of Prince Edward Island Board of Governors and The University of Prince Edward Island Faculty Association Bargaining Unit #1

Start Date: August 30, 2023
