Medical Education Opportunities for Physicians in Prince Edward Island

UPEI will host Memorial’s regional campus. Learners accepted into Memorial’s MD program at the PEI regional campus will complete their degree requirements in PEI and receive a degree from Memorial University.

Starting as Memorial’s regional campus will allow PEI-based students to start sooner, and also, under Memorial’s accreditation with the Committee on the Accreditation of Canadian Medical Schools, PEI will benefit from a well-established undergraduate medical education curriculum, expertise in rural medical education and Memorial’s commitment to excellence in teaching, innovation, and the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Memorial is seeking physicians to participate in medical education in Prince Edward Island, and will provide faculty development and support to new and experienced medical educators.
