The UPEI Department of Music’s faculty recitals featuring clarinetist Karem J. Simon will now take place on Saturday, April 22, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Charlottetown and on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Hillcrest United Church in Montague. Both performances will be at 7:30 pm.

Collaborating with Dr. Simon will be a string quartet consisting of Sean Kemp and Karen Graves, violinists; Jeffrey Bazett-Jones, violist; and Natalie Williams Calhoun, cellist. The performance will present two masterpieces for clarinet and string quartet by Mozart and Brahms. 

Admission to the performance at Hillcrest United Church in Montague is by a free-will offering. For the performance at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Charlottetown, admission is $30 for adults and $10 for students at the door.
