University of South Brittany (Université Bretagne Sud) was founded in 1995. It is a multidisciplinary institution with two main campuses situated in Lorient and Vannes, Brittany, France. It offers academic programs from bachelor’s level to the doctorate in different areas: humanities, social sciences, engineering, computer science, biochemistry, mathematics, law, economics and business.

Courses

Most courses at UBS are taught in French. There are some business courses in English offered during the second semester.

Accommodation

Accommodation Information

Visa

EU students do not need to apply for a visa. Non EU students will have to apply for a student visa. For more information, please read and follow the visa guidelines.

Health Insurance

All students are required to have health insurance

Non EU students will be affiliated to the French welfare system that applies to students. This registration is free of charge.

EU students must bring the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC).
