It's easy "Bein' Green"! Calling all students for your sustainability ideas!
Calling all students!
Dr. Wendy Rodgers, UPEI President and Vice-Chancellor, invites you to submit your ideas for actions that UPEI and its community members can take quickly and easily to enhance our environmental sustainability and reduce negative environmental impact on the University campus.
Students whose ideas are selected will have the opportunity to deliver a brief presentation (two-three minutes) at the upcoming President's Town Hall: It's Easy Bein' Green on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 11 am. Students will also be featured in an article in the Campus Connector e-newsletter and on social media. The audience will select their favourite pitches and be asked to commit to their own personal green-enhancing activities too!
Students who wish to participate are asked to email their ideas to Nicole Phillips, UPEI Communications, at nphillips@upei.ca no later than Friday, March 21 at 5:00 pm.
