Abstract: This presentation introduces the author’s interest in the topic, quickly pols the audience on their knowledge of Digital Accessibility, provides background information on statistics and legislation, and then presents basic Digital Accessibility Guidelines regarding alt text, headings, meaningful links, tables and PowerPoint. If time allows, a basic “inaccessible” document is provided for the audience to practice with in applying the guidelines. References and resources are provided.
