Pathology and Microbiology Seminar

Join Dr. David Overy for a seminar entitled "From taxonomy to metabolomes: A mycologist's journey in the study of fungal pathogens" on Tuesday, November 26 in AVC Lecture Theatre C at 3:30 p.m. Dr. Overy is a Research Manager in the Chemistry Department at UPEI and is a candidate for Adjunct and Graduate Faculty appointment in the Department of Pathology and Microbiology. Research on Tap

At the next Research on Tap, join us for a discussion about the rising cost of food on Prince Edward Island, and how it's become impossible for low-income families to fill their cart with the healthy stuff. Dr. Jennifer Taylor, Professor of Applied Human Sciences, will lead a discussion titled "Too High a Price: Food Costs and Food Insecurity in PEI." Christmas Skate

With Christmas just around the corner the Department of Athletics and Recreation is feeling festive! Lace up your skates and join us between 11:00am – 1:00 pm on Wednesday, November 27 in MacLauchlan Arena A for a Christmas Skate. There will be hot chocolate on site to keep you toasty warm! Festive Coffee Break

The Office of the President invites students to enjoy a festive study break on Thursday, December 5 from 1:00 - 2:30 pm, in the lobby of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre. There will be free hot cocoa, coffee, and cookies along with holiday music -- all to help ease the stress of studying and exams, and to celebrate the holiday season. All students are welcome!

The Society of International Students (SIS) is hosting an international potluck on Friday, November 29 from 6:00-9:00 pm in McMillan Hall, W.A. Murphy Student Centre featuring food, music and dancing from around the world! Students, staff and faculty are all welcome to attend.
