Starting January 6, 2020, the Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI will serve as the small animal after-hours primary emergency clinic for most of the private veterinary clinics on Prince Edward Island.

The Atlantic Veterinary College at UPEI presented the 2019 Hon. Eugene F. Whelan Green Hat Award, to Apple Valley Farm, a swine production facility in Pisquid, PEI, on November 14, 2019.

The Island Lecture Series’ presentation for December features visiting scholar Dr. Dacia Leslie, speaking about the prison system in her home country of Jamaica.

It was a busy year of activities for faculty, staff, and students from UPEI, the University of Nairobi, and Kenyatta University (Kenya) participating in a program entitled “Integrated Innovative Research & Training for Improved Sustainable Livelihoods of Kenyan Farming Communities.”

The UPEI Concert Choir, under the direction of Sung Ha Shin-Bouey, will perform George Frideric Handel’s The Messiah-Part I (plus the Hallelujah Chorus) in collaboration with the Atlantic String Machine and UPEI voice majors as soloists.

The Charlottetown Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday, December 1, 2019, beginning on University Avenue at Enman Crescent at 5:00 pm.
