The UPEI COVID-19 team met recently to consider procedures for the next phase of our COVID-19 management program (after the Winter Academic Semester ends on April 30). In preparation for that meeting, we consulted with the UPEI Joint Occupational Health and Safety Committee (JOHSC) and other community stakeholders.
Adult ADHD clinic to open at UPEI
The following new release was distributed by the Government of Prince Edward Island after an announcement was held at UPEI on April 11, 2022.
The University of Prince Edward Island and the provincial government are partnering on a new clinic to help adults living with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

U SPORTS announced the seeding on Sunday for the 2022 U SPORTS Women's Basketball Final 8 national championship, which runs from Thursday to Sunday at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ont.
The best in U SPORTS Women’s Hockey returns to UPEI, March 24–27
It’s been a two-year wait, but the Panthers are set to compete on home ice once again as UPEI hosts the 2022 U SPORTS Women’s Hockey Championship at MacLauchlan Arena. In 2020, UPEI hadn’t even played their first game when the championship was cancelled due to COVID-19.

Although we are still in the midst of the winter semester, Spring is around the corner, and we are looking forward to celebrating the Class of 2022. It is with great enthusiasm that I announce that we are proceeding with plans to host the four days of Convocation 2022 ceremonies in May in person, subject to PEI Chief Public Health Office protocols in place at the time.
