UPEI mourns passing of Dr. Peter Meincke, President Emeritus

The University of Prince Edward Island is saddened by the recent passing of Dr. Peter Meincke, President Emeritus.
Dr. Meincke was the second president of UPEI, serving from 1978 to 1985. He was named President Emeritus in 2001 and a Founder of the University in 2015.
Dr. Kuljeet Grewal receives University Award for Excellence in Graduate Student Supervision
UPEI held its annual Celebration of Colleagues on May 29, 2025, to recognize the achievements of faculty, librarians, clinical veterinary professionals, clinical nursing instructors, sessional instructors, and staff members. UPEI Cairo Campus holds Convocation ceremony on June 22
The University of Prince Edward Island held its 2025 Convocation ceremony on June 22 at its campus in New Cairo, Egypt.
UPEI Philosophy Reading Group Meeting
The UPEI Philosophy Reading Group will meet on Sunday, August 3, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at a downtown location still to be determined.
