UPEI Alumni and Friends--Vancouver

Let’s take a walk through history on the wild side of Vancouver! Join us on Saturday, March 16, for a private Forbidden Vancouver walking tour of the Gastown neighbourhood, and hear tales of mobsters and bootlegging that might even rival some of PEI’s best-known rum-running folk tales. (Remember the Dark Ride at Rainbow Valley?)

Our private tour will begin outside the Monaco Café at 356 Water Street when the steam clock strikes 6:00 pm. We’ll wind our way through the historic streets and back alleys of Gastown as dusk settles and the fabled street lanterns shine bright.

The team included me and three senior AVC students, Kaitlyn Ledgerwood, Kaitlin Coles, and Meghan Martell who were enrolled in the fourth-year “International Smallholder Livestock Health Management in Kenya” rotation.
