Campus Notices
Mickey's Place in the W.A. Murphy Student Centre will be open until April 11 until 2:00 pm.
Department Heads and Chairs are reminded that the University's fiscal year-end is April 30, 2014. To ensure that 2013-14 expenditures are recorded in the 2013-14 operating budget, all external requisitions (both electronic and hard copy) to be processed for purchase orders must be received by the Procurement Services office no later than 12 noon Friday, April 25, 2014. Our auditors require that goods charged to the 2013-14 budget must be both invoiced and received on or before April 30, 2014. Requisitions will be reviewed for acceptability prior to the April 25, 2014 final cut-off date.
- Goods invoiced or received after April 30, 2014 will be charged to the next fiscal year (2014-15). The April 25, 2014 cut-off date will be strictly enforced, so please make your plans now for the remaining weeks of the 2013-14 fiscal year.
- Hours worked and approved for the month of April will be charged to the 2013-14 fiscal year for students and other hourly-rate employees.
Your cooperation on this matter will be appreciated by all concerned.
Thank-you,
Comptroller's Office

At the Chaplaincy Centre thoughts are with the students during exam time, their success, and yes, of course, the chili dinner.
On the first two days of exams - Wednesday and Thursday, April 9 and 10 - between 11:30 am–1:30 pm, a chili dinner is served at the Chaplaincy Centre, free for the students. About 300 students show up each day with smiles and conversation on this busy week. We are looking for faculty and staff to help out and provide encouragement for students on their exams.
