Due to an increase in demand for pet food, the Veterinary Teaching Hospital is temporarily suspending the online pet food sales platform available to UPEI employees and students. We will continue to sell food in-person at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital but are currently limiting sales to one bag or case of each kind of food per household while we work at increasing our stock and ensuring we can continue to meet everyone's pet food needs.
Need an alternative to meeting with your students face-to-face? BlackBoard Collaborate is web conferencing software that allows instructors to do many things to engage online with their students. Use BlackBoard Collaborate to record your teaching for days when your face-to-face class has been cancelled. You can display a PowerPoint or use the interactive whiteboard to write notes and sketch, BlackBoard Collaborate allows you to set up a complete virtual classroom. It’s simple, easy and reliable to use. Facilitated by the E-Learning Office, this workshop will take place online on Thursday, March 26th from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Further details will be provided upon registration. REGISTER

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 crisis, UPEI’s Theatre Studies Program regrets to announce the cancellation of its upcoming production of Everyone, which was slated to run March 17 to March 21. In an effort to reduce the spread of the disease, we have decided to cancel the show. For information, you can contact Dr. Greg Doran, Coordinator of Theatre Studies, at gdoran@upei.ca or 902-566-6013.
Due to the currently evolving situation with COVID-19, we have made changes to our serveries and retail units to help reduce its transmission in our communities.
Until further notice, we have shut down the MicroMarket at the SSDE building and have limited the number of self-service stations at all of our retail units and the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall. Regular food and beverage options are still available to you, including milk and creamers, just ask an associate on duty so they can serve these to you.
Hot food will be served on the line all day at the Wanda Wyatt Dining Hall. If you cannot find anything you can eat due to dietary restrictions, please let any of our associates know and we will do our best to accommodate you. Soup, salad, and deli options are also still available, you would just need to ask one of our associates for a serving.
We will continue to monitor the current situation, and make appropriate changes to our operations as necessary. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we work hard to ensure all our guests are served well.
